Rob is the founder of Braidwood FM and has been its President since its inception, and was also its Station Manager for a number years.

Rob had a dream (a vision) to bring radio to Braidwood and after two and a half years of hard work raising capital, preparing submissions to many government authorities, and fighting to obtain a broadcast frequency for the region, the dream was realised when Braidwood FM began broadcasting on Australia Day, 26th January 2003.

Rob has presented various programs over the years since Braidwood FM began including “Today’s Country”; “Rock & Roll Is Here To Stay”; “Rock & Roll Heaven”, and “The Classic Album Show”. His current program is called “Flashback”, which has been on air since 2006. Each week on “Flashback” Rob features an artist or a group from previous decades and takes you through their career
Playing all their hits and giving you some interesting facts about them.

“Flashback” can be heard every Sunday night at 8:0pm, and is repeated the following Saturday at 11:05am

On Australia Day, 26th January 2004, Rob was presented with an Australia Day Award by the Tallaganda Shire Council for ‘Cultural Achievement’ in bringing community radio to Braidwood.


In July 2015 Rob moved to the Mid North coast where he is enjoying  a warmer climate, He has found himself now involved in 2NVR and can be heard on air and online.
