with Rod McClure

Rod started the book reading in 2017. The very first one was “Tale of Two Cities” by Charles Dickens. Since then, I have read one of the earliest Australian novels “Ralph Rashleigh” by a fellow called Tucker who was a convict, I have also read “For the Term of His Natural Life” by Marcus Clarke, “Capricornia” by Xavier Hebert, “Tourmaline” by Randolph Stow, “Heart of Darkness” by Joseph Conrad, “The Little Prince” and the “Ballad of Reading Jail” by Oscar Wilde, “The Power and the Glory” by Graham Greene, “The Loaded Dog” and “The Drover’s Wife” by Henry Lawson and, currently, “Ivanhoe” By Sir Walter Scott.

Rod reads from a classic novel each Monday from 4:05pm.
