It’s Rob Davidson’s 20th this year.

No, he isn’t 20 years old, but he has been in Community Radio for 20 years, having started with QBN-FM Queanbeyan in 2001.

He started with a country music program, “Today’s Country”, which continued on Braidwood FM and 2NVR Nambucca Valley Radio, and in 2002 he began his “Flashback” program and his “Flashback Featured Artist” program, which are still broadcast on Braidwood FM, 2NVR Nambucca Valley Radio, and Valley FM Tuggeranong each week. Both programs are also downloaded each week to the SCMA in Wagga Wagga, which have 100 community radio member stations that are able to access the programs for airplay on their stations.

Program #650 of “Flashback” has been produced this week, and there have been over 450 “Flashback Featured Artist” programs put to air, with the major focus being on Australia groups or artists from the 1960’s to the 1990’s.
