I’ve noticed that Asphalt roads are much more durable. I think it’s the cheaper bitumen road surface that falls apart under these conditions?

I wonder if all the money we spend on repairing and maintaining these bitumen roads would be better spent upgrading to the longer lasting, more durable asphalt surfaces, especially for the Kings Highway and main roads to our satellite villages.
