Each program features an artist or group from Australia or New Zealand and Rob Davidson takes you through their career and plays the hit singles and also the singles that didn’t do so well. The series include well-known chart-successful artists and groups, but also lesser known artist or groups who made their mark in the history of our great Australasian music scene. Some artists and groups featured are The Allusions; The Cherokees; Ariel; The Black Diamonds/Tymepiece; The Atlantics; Dave Bridge; Grantley Dee; Autumn; Colin Cook; and Bev Harrell.

Rod started the book reading in 2017. The very first one was “Tale of Two Cities” by Charles Dickens. Since then, I have read one of the earliest Australian novels “Ralph Rashleigh” by a fellow called Tucker who was a convict, I have also read “For the Term of His Natural Life” by Marcus Clarke, “Capricornia” by Xavier Hebert, “Tourmaline” by Randolph Stow, “Heart of Darkness” by Joseph Conrad, “The Little Prince” and the “Ballad of Reading Jail” by Oscar Wilde, “The Power and the Glory” by Graham Greene, “The Loaded Dog” and “The Drover’s Wife” by Henry Lawson and, currently, “Ivanhoe” By Sir Walter Scott.     Rod reads from a classic novel each Monday from 4:05pm.

Songs are carefully selected to ensure there is a maximum variety of styles, pace and volume in every program.

'The Conga Line' focuses on the lesser played and underappreciated nuggets from the recent past. You'll hear the music that resides in the periphery of your brain, just waiting for Billy Bob to trigger a memory or two. The 'Missing Six' at 4 PM highlights a particular year or CD compilation from the past. Irregular features include 'Conga Classic Rock', 'Retro Now' and 'International Retro'. And every show concludes with a novelty song or just plain awful track: the famous 'Wrong Song'. Being a drive show, The Conga Line will keep you up to date with the latest traffic and weather information as well as community events. A welcome distraction from the 'uncool' music, no?

The Big Rock hosted by Johnny J is a weekly program featuring rock music primarily from the 70’s, 80’s, & 90’s. Each week the show features a “Wayback” classic from the 1960’s as well as new or newer music from our core artists.

Music from the 70's, 80's and 90's and  classic albums, artist profiles.   TC grew up in an academic home with his Dad being and Archaeologist and his Mother was a History Professor so his life was mapped out very early. After studying journalism and music history for 18 years at Rolling Stone University in New York TC returned to Australia and continues to delve deep into the stories and the music born on the open roads of this big brown land. With contacts worldwide TC taps into the international group of hard-core rock n roll historians to research and find those unique stores and the great music you hear each week on the Time Capsule.   Craigo was abandoned as a baby in a Fender Guitar Case at a pub gig. Growing up on the road with his adopted rock n roll family he has many stories and insights into the world of rock n roll. There is hardly a place he has not been or a band he has not seen across our wonderful country and around the world. Having worked with TC since last century, Craigo steers the Time Capsule ship each week finding the music and pressing the buttons to compliment the hours of research conducted by TC every week.

This show comes out of 2REM in Albury and is all about up and coming new music, new artists and live bands X Award Winner – Atomic Countdown. Albury Wodonga-based 2REM FM’s drive to engage the youth demographically has yielded promising results. Their artist-orientated programming has cultivated a loyal new following by orchestrating a localised music countdown for original musicians. Regional musicians are often the most inspired, residing in the natural beauty of the countryside. They are frequently known to submit their original music works to community radio stations in order to get put into rotation. The crew down at 2REM is amalgamating these submissions into ‘the borders’ own top-twenty music countdown, The Atomic Countdown. The competitive nature of the charts has invigorated teenagers and young adults, galvanizing a loyal following for the show and a new-found pride for contemporary music and creative pursuits in the regional area. This fantastic initiative has made use of the various new forms of media (digital and social) to spread the word about the music charts and encourage song submissions online.
