INGRID MAE ANNOUNCES NEW SINGLE “HOW YOU DO IT”

Ingrid Mae’s new single “How you do it” will get your toes tapping and your fingers snapping. This is the track you need to say hello to the New Year with cut-to-the-chase lyrics and syncopated hooks.

It certainly shows the full spectrum of Ingrid Mae’s writing style as she pulverizes any boundaries you may have begun setting for her in the country music realm. She’s done melancholy sunsets, gun slinging bad boys and well, this track is like a modern Robert Palmer meets Winona Judd.

Playing “How you do it” is like popping the lid off a country bottle of champagne in a style immediately recognisable as Ingrid Mae. Co-producer come muse Rock Guy uses his drumming beats to really underpin this track and then there are the signature riffs of Bradley Bergen on lead guitars.

It’s been a bitter sweet ending to a year that saw the loss of their beloved best friend and bass player Eddie who played on all tracks on the upcoming album and has been part of the family since the beginning. The new album Closing Time is dedicated to him and the time they shared in the old shack “707”recording this album back in early 2020.

Hold on tight as this woman from western Sydney is full of songs and they just keep coming.
