Will Renton (‘Billy Bob’) presents ‘The Conga Line’ each Wednesday afternoon from 3 PM- a retro drive show with that ‘Billy Bob’ difference. Who knew that Katrina And The Waves had more than one song ? Did you know that Peter Gabriel is still making brilliant music?

‘The Conga Line’ focuses on the lesser played and underappreciated nuggets from the recent past. You’ll hear the music that resides in the periphery of your brain, just waiting for Billy Bob to trigger a memory or two. The ‘Missing Six’ at 4 PM highlights a particular year or CD compilation from the past. Irregular features include ‘Conga Classic Rock’, ‘Retro Now’ and ‘International Retro’. And every show concludes with a novelty song or just plain awful track: the famous ‘Wrong Song’.

Being a drive show, The Conga Line will keep you up to date with the latest traffic and weather information as well as community events. A welcome distraction from the ‘uncool’ music, no?

Billy Bob lives in the high desert town of Bungendore and has been a radio ‘geek’ all his life.  He is also serving as Vice President on the Board of Braidwood FM. “

He also works behind the Scenes, archiving most of the programs aired on Braidwood Fm to the Web site, so you can listen to them if you missed them the 1st time.

He also helps out with our Outside Broadcasts keeping an eye on the technical aspects of the broadcast.
